When it was decided to reprint the work in the 1980s, the 148 unpublished plates were also printed. These plates would have accompanied volumes 11 to 14 of Bleeker’s work. They are published in this volume for the first time. The volume includes a new introduction by Dr. Marinus Boeseman which details a history of the work and a key to the unpublished color plates. Though this volume is part of the published reprint, it stands alone since it was not part of the original 10 volume set.
