- Within the USA, we ship books via Media Mail or via USP Priority Mail. For Canadian and overseas orders, we can only ship books via AIRMAIL. International shipping by surface mail is no longer available from the USA. See table below for standard shipping rates. Upon request, we are happy to ship via FedEx, FedEx Ground, UPS Second Day, or Express Mail at cost. Please place order by phone if you are requesting any shipping option not provided in the table below.

- Returns & Replacements
- Books can be returned for any reason within five days of receipt. We can give you a full refund or a credit towards an additional purchase.
- Ordering
- Ordering should be done via the website. Phone orders should only be made if none standard shipping or payment options are requested. Call (319) 354-9088 to place your order. Emailed questions about orders and books can be directed to noriko@naturalhistorybooks.com. Since we are often away during the day, please leave a message on our answering machine.
- Payment, Pricing & Promotions
- All prices are net. Payments via the website must be made by credit card. We accept Visa or MasterCard. Orders placed by phone can also be paid by check, PayPal or wire transfers. Payment must be in U.S. dollars. Deferred billing is available only for libraries and government institutions.
- Condition of Books
- Nearly all books we sell are in very good or better condition. We have tried to describe condition precisely. Books described as FINE are in as new condition. NEAR FINE books show only slight signs of wear. VERY GOOD books show below average wear. Books described as GOOD usually have some condition problems.
