Watts after E.D. Smith, each accompanied by a leaf of descriptive text. Later half green calf with 5 raised bands and black morocco title and volume labels over original marbled boards, lg 8vo. One of the truly great flower books of the early 19th century with superb hand-colored plates. Occasional mild offsetting from a few plates, some age toning to a few of the title pages, slight wear to the original boards, the text and beautiful hand-colored plates are bright and clean without foxing or browning, a tight, very good copy.
