Beihefte Nova Hedwigia, heft 67. Rhodocybe is a small genus of small and medium-sized brownish-pink spored mushrooms, or (following recent mycological research) it is a subgroup of genus Clitopilus. These mushrooms are saprotrophic and most grow on the ground, but some are found on wood. Most are drab in appearance, though a few have vivid colors (from Wiki). This volume is from the private research collection of University of Michigan mycologist Alexander H. Smith with his bold signature at the top of the front attached endpaper. Inscribed by the author at the bottom of the facing front free endpaper. No other ownership marks and no signs of use.
