The first signature on the endpapers reads: John Baldwin, His Book, 1761. On the facing page the signature reads: John Baldwin, his Book, 1773. Beneath that is the signature of Caleb Baldwin, his book with no date listed. On the final endpaper there are three other signatures in an old hand – one reads ‘Aaron Martins, 1794.’ The page edges are uncut.
