This volume documents the "Second Asiatic Expedition" to Mongolia and northern China (especially Shanxi) in 1918-1920. This work contains separate chapters on the great ram of Shanxi, the Mongolian “Argali,” the horse-deer of Shanxi, on the Wapiti, Roebuck and Goral, on wild pigs, and on the hunting parks of the eastern tombs. This work has become quick scarce in this first edition. Signature of Robert Kuhn, January 1922 is on the front endpaper.
