This set presents an atlas of the mushrooms of the German state of Saarland in the west of the country. Saarland is also the smallest German state. Part 1 describes the distribution of mushrooms and the threatens species while Part 2 presents the ecology, occurrences and descriptions and the nature and landscape in Saarland. This volume is from the private research collection of University of Michigan mycologist Alexander H. Smith. It is inscribed to Smith by both authors on the title page of each volume. This is a large and heavy set. Postage to Canada and to overseas locations will be very expensive, much more than the listed price.
