This is volume 2 of a two volume set; it is the complete work on aquatic birds. The text is in Japanese but the English common names are used throughout. From the research library of ornithologist Edgar B. Kincaid, Jr. with his bookplate on the front endpaper. Kincaid is called the “father of Texas birding.” He was the editor of the two volume monograph “The Bird Life of Texas” published by Texas University Press in 1974.
