It is inscribed by the author to Professor G. B. Wislocki and dated April 1, 1933. The next owner is Prof. George E. Erikson of Brown University who purchased it from Prof. Wislocki on December 28, 1956. Prof. Erikson’s signature and note appears on the front attached endpaper. Some neat pencil annotations in the work, probably in the hand of Prof. Erikson.
