From the journal Saetryk af Friesia, volume IV, nos. 1, 2, 3. Agaricus mushrooms or ‘meadow mushrooms’ are today synonymous with the genus Psalliota. This volume is from the private research collection of University of Michigan mycologist Alexander H. Smith with his name in gilt at the bottom of the spine. Both parts are warmly inscribed by the author to Smith at the top outer corner of each front wrapper. No other ownership marks.
