Pp. xx, 277; 100+ color photos, numerous black-and-white photographs.  Publisher’s original one-quarter brown cloth, lettered in gilt, over dark green cloth boards, blind-stamped and lettered in gilt on the front cover, original clear plastic dust jacket protector, oblong 4to (312 x 230 mm; 12 1/4 x 9 1/8 inches).  This is the subscriber’s edition limited to 1200 numbered copies, initialed by the senior author, this being copy no. 631.  This fine limited edition documents the story of the Craighead brothers' visit with the Maharaja of Bhavnagar in the Kathiawar States in 1940-41.  This work includes much information about the trapping and training falcons and well as the brother’s adventures hunting Indian lions, man-eating tigers and wild boar.  No ownerships marks and no signs of use.  This is volume 2 in the Heritage Publication series.
