Original dark green Ray Society cloth, elaborately blind-stamped and gilt-decorated on the spines and front and rear covers, top page edges in gilt, lg 8vo. The color plates, by P.J. Smit, are very attractive. The Ray Society bibliography states that only 600 copies of Part I and 500 copies of Part II were published. Small blind-stamp of Dr. Williams of the Pontiac, Michigan Science Institute on each title page. Small name plate removed from front endpaper which has left a small white paper rectangle about one-half inch high. No signs of use.
