Hennicke.  This third edition contains the same text of original edition but with new material added in square brackets.  The plates are fine chromolithographs.  This final edition is the first to include 48 chromolithographs of European bird eggs from the collection of Eugene Rey.  These bird egg plates by Alexander Reichert were prepared specially for this edition.  Offered here are 25 of the original 48 egg plates from Naturgeschichte der Vögel Mitteleuropas.  These plates are presented in a truly fine binding.  No ownership marks.
