Both volumes are presentation copies from the Council of the Royal College of Surgeons of England to the Royal Institution of Great Britain, stamped on the title page of each volume. Also from the research collection of marine vertebrate paleontologist Edward D. Mitchell with his signature on the title page of each volume. Rare work.
