This is the Format De Luxe Large Paper edition limited to 350 copies. This copy is signed by Dawson but is unnumbered. The Format De Luxe Large Paper edition has the full complement of plates including the color plates, photogravures, and duotone plates. The Large Paper edition has wider margins than other editions of this work. William Leon Dawson was an American ornithologist and graduate of Oberlin College and Oberlin Theological Seminary.
