Manchoukuo was the portion of northeastern China under Japanese control in the 1930's. The beautiful color plates by S. Suzuki all have their tissue guards. From the research collection of Illinois State University herpetologist Lauren E. Brown with his signature on the front endpaper. No other ownership marks. Rare work seldom offered.
