(iii), 252; Original pale green wrappers, lettered in black on the front cover, thick 4to.  Discomycetes are a group of fungi in the class Ascomycetes in which the surface of the fruiting body is exposed during maturation of the spores (from Wiki).  The front cover has a small rectangular stamp “National Fungus Collections, Received March 31, 1970.”  This volume is from the private research collection of University of Michigan mycologist Alexander H. Smith.
