This presents a facsimile of all Boulenger's papers on Neotropical herpetology published from 1870 to 1920. There are two tables of contents that accompany the work: the first covers parts 1-10 and the second covers parts 11-18. There is also a separate taxonomic index to the entire work at the end. Kraig Adler assembled the work and provided historical comments in the preface to each table of contents. There is also an introduction to the life and herpetological work of Boulenger by James C. Battersby in the first table of contents. In the series: Society for the Study of Amphibians and Reptiles Miscellaneous Publications. From the research collection of Illinois State University herpetologist Lauren E. Brown with his signature or name stamp on front endpaper and on some of the individual parts. A few sentences underlined by Brown in the preface and introduction only.
