Pp. x, 547 (6), 191 fine text-figures, 1 map, 4 full page fine color plates.  Early dark green cloth, lettered in gilt on the spine and with gilt panel lines at the head and foot of the spine, thick small folio (32 x 22.5 cm).  According to Adler, History of Herpetology, volume 1, p. 107: this is the first herpetological review of the amphibians of French Indochina (Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos).  From the private research collection of Cornell University herpetologist Kraig Adler with his small bookplate on the front attached endpaper and his signature in the top corner of the title page.  This work in now very scarce.
