This is volume XXV and XXVI in ‘The Naturalist’s Library’ edited by William Jardine. This is the complete work on whales and other marine mammals in the Naturalist’s Library. Volume XXV also presents a memoir of the life of French navigator, Francois Peron; while volume XXVI contains a memoir of the life of M. Le Comte Lacepede who studied marine mammals among other groups. This is second revised edition. No ownership marks.
