Mammals of Thailand (second edition)

Pp. (27), li, 758, 300+ photos, distribution maps and text-figures.  Color-printed laminated boards, 4to.  The most important work on Southeast Asian mammals ever published.  This second edition contains a chapter on the Muridae by Joe E. Marshall and a chapter on Sciuridae by Robert Askins.  The forward to the second edition is by S. Dillon Ripley.  Like the first edition published in 1977, this second edition was limited to 1000 copies.  Name stamp of the Ron Sauey Memorial Library on the top page edge, blank pocket on the rear endpaper, no other ownership marks to the text or laminated binding.  Ron Sauey was co-founder of the International Crane Foundation, Baraboo, Wisconsin.  Rare work.
