Pp. xv, 299, (1, errata). Publisher’s original dark green ribbed cloth, ornately stamped in blind on the upper and lower covers and on the spine, lettered in gilt on the spine, 12mo (6.75 x 4.5 inches; 170 x 114 mm). This is a scarce early review of the Irish avifauna covering descriptions, habits, migrations, occurrences and economy of 261 species.
