Pp. 589, (3); color frontispiece photo, 287 full page color photographs of individual prize-winning koi and 287 color photographs of the pond and their owner that produced each prize-winning koi.  Publisher’s original black cloth, lettered in silver on the spine, in the original color pictorial laminated hard slipcase, 4to (12 x 8.5 inches).  The preface reads: “Our koi are becoming more and more gorgeous and bigger.  Let us put today’s koi and their ponds on record so this will be appreciated as a page of koi history.  This book will serve as a reference of landscape gardeners, pond builders, those who handle relevant machinery and to koi food makers”.  The entire work is printed high-quality glossy photographic paper which has produced truly beautiful color photography.  The original selling price of this work listed on the rear side of the slipcase is 22,000 Yen.  The text is simultaneously presented in Japanese and in English throughout the entire volume.  No ownership marks and no signs of use.  A Japanese version of the ‘ISBN’ is printed on the slipcase: 2076-107089-3383.
