The work is divided into two parts. The first part provides a general account of sea snakes while the second part provides keys, line-drawings and color photos of Taiwan sea snakes. The text is in English with a summary in Chinese at the end. From the research collection of herpetologist K. P. Schmidt with his name stamp on the front endpaper. Also inscribed to KPS from H. Voris, dated 1981. Voris was a herpetologist in the Chicago Field Museum. Rare work.
