The Book of the Dead: Facsimiles of the Papyri of Hunefer, Anhai, Kerasher and Netchemet

Pp. xi, 63, 35 facsimile plates of papyri, 19 are in color and most of which are double pages. One-quarter black leather, over black cloth covered boards, title on spine and front cover, marbled endpapers, lg. folio (16 x 24 inches). The plates are divided into five sections; 'Hunefer' (11 plates), 'Anhai' (8 plates), 'Kerasher' (3 plates), 'Netchemet' (12 plates), and ‘Nu’ (1 plate). This rare folio provides the hieroglyphs and iconography as well as translation notes of the funerary texts commonly referred to as ‘The Book of the Dead.’
