Pp. xvi,170; 20 full page color plates.  Color pictorial laminated boards, lettered in black and in white, sm 4to.  The text is in Chinese but there is a six-page summary in English at the rear.  Describes the early Pleistocene cave fauna of Mohui Cave which includes Gigantopithecus, Stegodon, and other elements of the Ailuropoda-Stegodon fauna.  It also presents teeth that were assigned to Homo cf. erectus but are actually those of an unknown ape.  No ownership marks and no signs of use.
