Pp. iv, 147; 44 full page color plates.  Color pictorial laminated boards, lettered in black and in white, sm 4to.  The text is in Chinese but there is a ten-page summary in English at the rear.  Describes the stone artifacts of the terrace deposits of the Baise (Bose) basin of southern China.  Some of these terraces have been dated by radiometric studies of the tektites associated with stone artifacts.  These terraces date to 800,000 years ago.  No ownership marks and no signs of use.
