This work was essentially privately printed as the author owned the book’s publisher, the Altoona Tribune Company. Very likely the rarest monograph published on the passenger pigeon. The preface states “no other single publication contains as much intimate and firsthand personal observation on the Passenger Pigeon throughout the year.”
