The two longest monographs are: “Speciation in Salamanders of the Plethodontid Genus Ensatina” by Robert Stebbins (150 pages, 2 color plates, 4 black-and-white photo-plates, 1949) and “Vertebrate Animals of the Providence Mountain Areas of California” by David Johnson et al, (156 pages, 52 text-figures, 1 color folding map, 1948). Mildly ex-library from the Reading Public Museum with gold call number on the spine, bookplate of Reading Museum on the front endpaper and Museum stamps on the front original wrapper of each number.
